Presenters Congress Overview

In partnership with our convention host, the Austin Classical Guitar Society, we will present 7 hours of dedicated programming on best-practices specifically designed for executive and artistic directors of presenting organizations. The presentations, given by industry experts, will cover a range of topics from Fundraising and Development, to PR and Marketing, Board Development and Governance and Visa and Tax issues related to hiring foreign artists.

In addition to these presentations, and a unique networking opportunity with your colleagues from around North America and beyond, you will, of course, have complete access to the fabulous convention we have planned including the international competition and performances by Pepe Romero, the LA Guitar Quartet, the Austin Symphony Orchestra and many, many more.

We are asking for your participation in an effort to make the Guitar Foundation of America Convention the most vibrant, exciting, and impacting event possible. Your organizations are the engines that power the classical guitar world and bring the great music and artistry of the classical guitar to the public. We hope that in offering a forum for networking, the dissemination valuable information from experts, and an opportunity to meet many players, teachers and managements, that we will create a powerful environment that will help foster the next steps in the classical guitar presentation world. We cannot do it without you, please register today.  Questions?  Please contact Convention Manager Stephen Mattingly.
